Terms of Service
These Terms define the rules of using the JuiceGO powerbank rental service provided by L3ST Borys Skrzypek. By using the service you accept these Terms.
§1.Operator details
The service is provided by L3ST Borys Skrzypek, ul. Rynek 15/3, 43-430 Skoczów, Polska, NIP 5482775586, REGON 544129876.
Contact: kontakt@juicego.pl, tel. +48 667 905 511.
Address for returns and complaints: L3ST Borys Skrzypek, ul. Rynek 15/3, 43-430 Skoczów.
§2.Definitions
The following terms used in these Terms shall mean:
a) Operator – L3ST Borys Skrzypek, Tax ID 5482775586, based in Skoczów, Poland;
b) JuiceGO – the network of powerbank rental stations and the mobile app enabling their use;
c) Powerbank – a portable battery offered for temporary rental by the Operator;
d) Station – a device used to dispense and return Powerbanks;
e) User – a person using the service who meets the age requirement set out in §3;
f) Account – the User's individual account in the App;
g) App – the JuiceGO application running in a browser (PWA), available at juicego.pl;
h) Wallet – the balance of funds assigned to the Account, usable solely to pay for JuiceGO services;
i) Price list – the current rates shown in the App before a rental is confirmed (§9);
j) Amounts due – all sums payable to the Operator under these Terms, listed in §10(1).
§3.Age requirement
The service may be used by a person who is at least 16 years old.
A person who is at least 13 but under 16 may use the service only with the consent of their legal guardian. By creating an Account, the User declares that they meet one of these conditions.
The Operator does not verify age against a document — it relies on the User's declaration, but where there is reasonable doubt it may request confirmation of age and of the guardian's consent, and suspend the Account until the matter is clarified.
A legal guardian is responsible for a minor's actions in connection with the use of the service. At a guardian's request, the Account of a minor who concealed their age is deleted together with their data, except for accounting data the Operator is required to retain (see the retention section of the Privacy Policy).
§4.User Account
Using the service requires creating an Account in the App. On registration the User provides an e-mail address and a phone number, and confirms the e-mail via an activation link.
The Account is personal — it may be used only by the person it was created for. Sharing the Account or login credentials with third parties is not permitted.
One Account holds one e-mail address and one phone number. The User provides true details and keeps them up to date — these are the addresses we use for notifications about an ongoing rental, settlements and any arrears.
The User is responsible for keeping their password confidential. We recommend enabling two-factor login by SMS code in the Account settings.
Any suspicion of unauthorised access to the Account must be reported to the Operator without delay (kontakt@juicego.pl). Pending clarification the Operator may block the Account — the block protects the Wallet balance and the saved card.
The Operator may also block the Account where the User is in arrears (§10) or where the way the service is used breaches these Terms or the law.
The Account may be deleted at any time in the App. Deleting the Account does not end an ongoing rental and does not extinguish Amounts due — see §18.
§5.Technical requirements
All you need is a device with internet access and an up-to-date browser (Chrome, Safari, Firefox or Edge in a version supported by its vendor), with JavaScript and essential cookies enabled.
The App runs in the browser (PWA) and can be added to your phone's home screen. No app-store installation is required.
Starting a rental requires scanning a Station's QR code, and therefore permission to use the device camera. The QR code contains an ordinary web address — a User who prefers not to grant that permission can read it with any scanner and open it in a browser.
The Operator may carry out short maintenance windows needed to update or service the system; planned windows are announced in the App.
It is prohibited to supply unlawful content through the service or to take actions that disrupt its operation, in particular interfering with Station software, attempting to bypass security measures, or querying the service in an automated way.
§6.Scope of service
The Operator provides short-term Powerbank rentals through a network of Stations and a dedicated mobile app.
The service is available at locations shown in the app, during the opening hours of the venues hosting the Stations.
A User may have at most 2 Powerbanks rented at the same time. Renting another is possible after returning one of the active rentals.
§7.Conclusion of the agreement and fulfilment
A rental agreement is concluded the moment a Station QR code is scanned in the app and a Powerbank is physically released from the slot.
Using the service requires creating an account in the app and providing contact details. On the first rental the User pays the deposit on the payment provider's page; the card is then saved for subsequent rentals.
The service is fulfilled IMMEDIATELY: the powerbank is released from the station right after the payment is confirmed, within seconds. There is no shipping and no order preparation time.
A purchased Powerbank (§11) stays with the User — it is not shipped, because it is already in their possession.
§8.Rules for using the Powerbank
Before use, check the Powerbank's visible condition — the casing and the plugs of the built-in cables.
If the Powerbank is damaged or does not charge, return it to the same Station within the first 5 minutes. The rental then ends with no fee at all and you can take another Powerbank straight away. After that time, report the issue under §12.
The Powerbank must be used for its intended purpose and with due care. In particular it is prohibited to: open or modify the device, expose it to water, high temperature or fire, sub-rent it or make it available to third parties for a fee, or use it as an advertising medium.
The Powerbank remains the Operator's property until a possible buy-out (§11). The User acquires no rights to it beyond the right of temporary use.
The Powerbank must be returned in no worse condition than received. For damage caused by the User's fault the Operator charges the actual, documented cost of repair, or — where repair is impossible or uneconomical — the buy-out price (PLN 119); in the latter case the damaged Powerbank remains the User's property.
Losing a Powerbank is treated the same as not returning it: after 48 hours the rental converts into a sale under §11. There is no separate penalty for loss and no fee for merely exceeding the time.
§9.Fees and deposit
Adding a payment card involves no charge whatsoever. The payment provider verifies the card with a zero-amount order and stores it for future payments; nothing is taken from the User's account and nothing is credited to the Wallet. The card issuer may ask for additional authentication as part of this.
The first 5 minutes of each rental are free. After that, a rate of PLN 3.50 per started hour applies, with a maximum of PLN 30 per rental day. Current rates are always shown in the app before you confirm a rental and are binding at that point.
The free initial period is available up to 3 times per day. Further rentals returned within the free period on the same day are charged from the first minute — this rule prevents renting and immediately returning a Powerbank over and over. When the daily limit is used up, the app says so before the rental starts.
At the start of a rental the Operator places a HOLD on the User's card for an amount equal to the maximum daily fee (PLN 30). A hold (pre-authorisation) is not a charge — the funds stay in the User's account, merely reserved until the rental is settled. The Wallet balance is left untouched.
Holds apply to rentals paid with a saved card. On a first rental, when no card is saved yet, the deposit is charged and settled by refunding the surplus as described below.
For each additional started day of an active rental, the Operator takes a further daily deposit on the same basis (Wallet first, then card).
After the Powerbank is returned, the Operator calculates the actual time-based fee, takes exactly that amount from the held funds, and releases the rest of the hold. There is no refund of the surplus because it was never taken. How quickly the hold disappears from the account depends on the User's bank — immediately for some, up to a few days for others — and is outside the Operator's control.
If the User's Wallet holds a balance at the time of settlement, the fee is taken from it first and the hold is released to the corresponding extent.
If the Powerbank is not returned within 48 hours, the rental converts into a sale (buy-out) of the Powerbank — see §11.
A promo code reduces the time-based rental fee on the terms stated with the code. Codes do not apply to the Powerbank buy-out price or to the handling fee.
Funds held in the Wallet may be used solely to pay for JuiceGO services; they are not a deposit or electronic money, bear no interest and are not redeemable for cash. Unused funds originating from card top-ups are refunded by the Operator on the User's request or upon account closure — back to the card used for the top-up, usually within 24–48 hours (§18).
All prices are gross prices in Polish zloty.
A change to the Price list does not affect rentals already started — a rental in progress is settled at the rates accepted when it began. Rate changes are announced in the app before they take effect.
§10.Unpaid amounts
Amounts due under these Terms are: time-based rental fees, further daily deposits, the Powerbank buy-out price, the documented cost of repairing a damaged Powerbank, and the handling fee referred to in paragraph 4.
The Operator collects Amounts due first from the Wallet balance and the remainder from the saved payment card. By starting a rental, the User consents to the saved card being charged with Amounts due arising from that rental.
If a charge fails (insufficient funds, a declined or expired card), the amount remains as arrears visible in the app and the Account is blocked until it is settled. The block applies to starting new rentals — access to the Account, to the settlement history and the ability to pay off the arrears remain available.
A one-off handling fee of PLN 10 is added to the first uncollected Amount due on a given rental. It is charged once per rental, regardless of how many collection attempts are made.
The Operator retries collection no more often than every 6 hours. Arrears can also be paid at any time by the User — by topping up the Wallet or using the pay-off button on the block screen.
If arrears persist, the Operator sends payment reminders to the e-mail address assigned to the Account, no more often than once every 3 days.
If the deadline set in the reminder passes without payment, the Operator may pursue the Amounts due amicably, through debt collection or in court. The Operator is then entitled to statutory interest for late payment (Article 481 of the Polish Civil Code) and to reimbursement of actually incurred, documented costs of pursuing the claim.
Beyond the fees expressly stated in these Terms, the Operator charges no contractual penalties or flat-rate fees.
§11.Returning the Powerbank and purchase
The Powerbank must be returned to any JuiceGO Station open within the host venue's hours.
The rental ends when the Powerbank is correctly placed in an empty slot and the end of rental is confirmed in the app.
The User is responsible for a proper return — if the app does not confirm the end of rental, please contact support without delay.
The sale (buy-out) price of the Powerbank is PLN 119. At any time during the rental the User may purchase the Powerbank in the app for this price — the rental then converts into a sale and the User keeps the Powerbank.
A rental runs as follows. For the first 24 hours we charge the hourly rate up to the daily cap. After each further started day we take another daily deposit and send a reminder to return the Powerbank. 48 hours from the start of the rental is the maximum rental time — once it passes, the rental ends automatically and converts into a sale of the Powerbank.
Conversion into a sale means the Powerbank stays with the User as their property, and the Operator collects from the Wallet or the saved card the difference between the sale price and the fees already charged for the rental time. This is not a penalty — it is payment for equipment that did not return to circulation.
Notices about an upcoming conversion are sent in the app and by e-mail, and — if SMS notifications are enabled — by text message as well. Until the conversion happens, returning the Powerbank to any Station closes the rental on the usual terms.
The sale price consists of two parts: (a) the fees for the rental time to date — constituting remuneration for a fully rendered service and, as such, non-refundable; and (b) the price of the Powerbank itself (the difference between the sale price and the fees referred to in (a)). This split is shown in the app in the rental summary.
Once paid, the Powerbank becomes the User's property and is not accepted back by the Stations — once placed in a slot, the Station automatically dispenses the same unit back. Returns are not handled in self-service mode.
A purchased Powerbank may be returned, but NOT via a Station (the Station does not accept a sold unit). A User who is a consumer may withdraw from the sale of the Powerbank within 14 days of the purchase date (i.e. the date the rental converted into a sale or of the voluntary buy-out) by submitting a declaration by e-mail to kontakt@juicego.pl. After submitting the declaration, the User sends back a working and complete Powerbank within 14 days to: L3ST Borys Skrzypek, ul. Rynek 15/3, 43-430 Skoczów; the direct cost of return shipping is borne by the User.
Upon effective withdrawal, only the price of the Powerbank itself ((b) above) is refundable. The rental-time fees ((a)) are not refundable, being remuneration for a rental service fully performed with the consumer's express consent (the right of withdrawal does not apply to that part). The Operator refunds the amount due via the same payment method within 14 days of receiving the working Powerbank.
§12.Complaint and replacement conditions
A Powerbank is eligible for complaint or replacement if, at the moment of release, its charge level was below 30% (i.e. the Operator's minimum charge threshold — 40% — reduced by 10 percentage points), or if it was damaged in a way preventing use.
Stations are configured not to dispense Powerbanks below 40% charge — in the normal course of the service the condition above should not occur.
The simplest route is to return a faulty Powerbank to the same Station within the first 5 minutes (§8(2)) — the rental then ends with no fee and no paperwork.
A complaint regarding charge level or operation must be reported promptly, no later than within 1 hour of release, via the app or kontakt@juicego.pl, quoting the rental number.
The above does not limit the consumer's statutory rights under warranty and consumer-protection law.
§13.Complaints
Complaints should be submitted to kontakt@juicego.pl, tel. +48 667 905 511 or through the app, including the rental number and a description of the issue.
A complaint may concern, in particular: a Powerbank or Station not working correctly, an incorrectly charged fee, being unable to rent or return a Powerbank, or a deposit surplus not being refunded.
If you dispute the amount charged, give the rental number and the date, time and place of both the pickup and the return — that lets us reconstruct the rental in the system.
If handling a complaint requires sending the Powerbank back, send it to: L3ST Borys Skrzypek, ul. Rynek 15/3, 43-430 Skoczów.
The Operator handles complaints within 14 business days of receipt.
Refunds, where due, are returned via the same payment method used for the original payment.
Filing a complaint does not release the User from paying Amounts due that the complaint does not cover.
§14.Invoices and transaction history
The history of rentals and of every charge is available in the App — in the Wallet tab (charges, top-ups and refunds) and in the details of each rental, where the settlement is itemised to the last grosz. The User accepts this way of being provided with transaction information.
After every completed rental the Operator e-mails a settlement summary to the address assigned to the Account, unless the User has turned those notifications off in settings.
The service is aimed at consumers. The Operator does not sell to businesses and does not handle rentals billed to company details — an Account is opened for a natural person.
The settlement summary available in the App and sent by email is sufficient proof of the transaction. If you nevertheless need an invoice, write to kontakt@juicego.pl quoting the rental number — we will issue one to the extent and within the deadline required by VAT legislation.
§15.Liability, service availability and force majeure
The User is liable for damage to the rented Powerbank caused by their fault, in particular for mechanical damage, water damage, or loss of the device (§8(5)).
The Operator does not guarantee the availability of any particular Station, nor a given number of Powerbanks or free slots at any moment. The current state of every Station — how many Powerbanks are available and how many slots are free for a return — is shown on the map in the App and kept up to date.
If a Station is full and has no free slot, the rental continues — return the Powerbank to another Station shown in the App. If no nearby Station has a free slot, contact support (kontakt@juicego.pl); the Operator does not charge for time during which returning was objectively impossible for reasons on the Operator's side.
The Operator is not liable for indirect damage resulting from temporary unavailability of a Station, including the User's device running out of power.
The Operator does not guarantee compatibility of a Powerbank with every model of mobile device. Powerbanks come with built-in cables in the standards commonly used at the time of release.
The Operator is not liable for failure to perform, or defective performance of, the service caused by force majeure — an external event that could not be foreseen or prevented, in particular a power or connectivity outage at the venue hosting the Station. The Operator charges no fees for time during which, for that reason, using the service or returning the Powerbank was impossible.
The limitations above do not exclude or limit the Operator's liability towards a consumer to the extent that mandatory law does not allow it — in particular liability for damage caused intentionally and for personal injury.
§16.Right of withdrawal
Pursuant to Article 38(1)(1) of the Polish Consumer Rights Act of 30 May 2014, the right of withdrawal does not apply to services that have been fully performed with the express consent of the consumer informed in advance that they would lose this right upon performance.
By accepting these Terms and releasing a Powerbank, the User consents to the immediate start of service.
The above concerns the rental service only. Withdrawal from the sale (buy-out) of a Powerbank is governed separately by §11 — a consumer has 14 days to return the device itself.
A clear statement sent to kontakt@juicego.pl is enough to withdraw. You may, but need not, use the model withdrawal form set out in Annex 2 to the Consumer Rights Act.
§17.Intellectual property
The JuiceGO name, logo and the graphic and software elements of the App and the site are legally protected and remain the Operator's property.
The Operator grants the User a non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable licence to use the App solely to the extent necessary to use the service. The licence does not include the right to reproduce, decompile, or create derivative works.
The Operator acquires no rights to content submitted by the User in support tickets (descriptions, photos) — it uses them solely to handle the ticket and for the period stated in the Privacy Policy.
§18.Termination and account closure
The agreement to use the App is concluded for an indefinite term. The User may terminate it at any time by deleting the Account in the App — without giving a reason and free of charge.
The Account cannot be deleted during an ongoing rental or while an Amount due is outstanding. Return or buy out the Powerbank and settle what is owed first.
On account closure the Operator automatically refunds unused Wallet funds originating from card top-ups back to the card used for the top-up. Funds from bonuses, goodwill credits and promo codes are not payable out.
The Operator may terminate the agreement on 14 days' notice, and with immediate effect only in the event of a gross breach of these Terms, in particular using the service unlawfully, interfering with Stations, or persistent non-payment. Termination is served by e-mail together with its reasons.
Termination does not affect Amounts due that arose before it, nor the User's complaint rights regarding services already rendered.
After the Account is deleted we process data only to the extent and for the period described in the Privacy Policy.
§19.Out-of-court dispute resolution
A consumer may use out-of-court means of handling complaints and pursuing claims, in particular:
a) seek free assistance from a municipal or district consumer ombudsman in Poland;
b) apply for mediation or a ruling by the permanent arbitration court at the provincial inspectorate of the Trade Inspection;
c) use the free assistance of consumer organisations and the information published by the Polish Office of Competition and Consumer Protection (uokik.gov.pl);
d) in a cross-border dispute, contact the European Consumer Centre (konsument.gov.pl).
The EU Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform was shut down on 20 July 2025 and is no longer available; information on the amicable routes that remain in place is maintained by the European Commission at https://consumer-redress.ec.europa.eu.
Using these routes is voluntary and requires both parties to agree. The Operator declares its willingness to resolve disputes amicably.
§20.Changes to the Terms
The Operator reserves the right to amend these Terms for important reasons, in particular changes in law or in the scope of services.
Users will be notified of changes 14 days in advance via the app or email. A User who does not accept the changes may terminate the agreement.
An amendment does not affect rentals started before it takes effect — those are settled under the previous rules.
§21.Final provisions
In matters not regulated herein, Polish law applies, in particular the Civil Code and the Consumer Rights Act. This does not deprive a consumer of the protection afforded by the mandatory rules of the country of their habitual residence.
Provisions concerning consumers also apply to a natural person entering into an agreement directly connected with their business activity where the agreement is not of a professional character for them (Article 7aa of the Consumer Rights Act).
These Terms are made available free of charge in the App and on the website, in a way that allows them to be downloaded, reproduced and stored.
If any provision of these Terms proves invalid or ineffective, the remaining provisions stay in force.
Disputes are resolved by the court competent for the consumer's place of residence.
